After deeper diagnosis on REP code 5.3 flex 2004 Yukon XL most likely will cover several other models w fbw systems. Codes were tps 1 and 2 and po1516. After replacing connector to tps the tac module suffered a failure and throttle body motor were the issues. I suspect the throttle body motor shorted and damaged TAC module replaced both problem solved. After replacing tac module had runaway throttle in park and new code for throttle body airflow performance, this was how I discovered the source of the issue. Be advised a cat threshold code can exacerbate this issue and even force pcm into limp. IE reduced engine power. Hope this helps yall fighting this stupid code. Gms after warranty parting gift spend hundreds or buy a new one thanks gm engineers like $60,000 wasnt enough up the wazzoo.
