So I got my BB tune and I ordered my LT headers today. When I get the LT Headers I'm gonna redo the exhaust. It's 2.5" Dual exhuast with 1 magnaflow muffler. I was kinda thinking of doing a side exit exhaust. Like how this dude over at LS1truck did his on his sweet ass Yukon. W

With this style exhaust what would I be able to do IE: Mufflers/Piping style/ETC.
And what would the cons of this style exhaust be?

Come on this is comin' up soon people, post!? ALSO, to get the armor coating on the headers jumps the price from like 200$ to around 450$. Is it really worth it!? Will the headers be fine without the armor coating?!

First of all yes get that exhaust set up like the picture. Second of all the headers would be fine without the coating... But if you will have more benefits with the armor coating, I'm assuming you mean ceramic coating btw. With ceramic you wont have to worry about rust and it will keep the temperature under the hood lower which = more power.

I'm not a fan of the exhaust in front of the back wheel. I've always thought it looks cute and girlie on trucks. Don't know why. Looks good on old Vettes but I don't like it on trucks. I think your exhaust right now looks pretty damn good. The good ol' fashioned dual straight out the back looks good too. You could go with the dual behind the back wheel on one side but I've never really liked that one either.

Honestly, I say replace your muffler if you want but leave the exhaust how it is.

well, coating headers thee is a price for outside only and inside and out. That's why you get conflicting costing. I suggest doing it if you want them look good, and last. ALL my headers get HPC (High Performance Coatings) lowers underhood temp, and they look good and last alot longer.

Do you plan on doing after headers, back into one pipe, or true duals?
