My passenger rear door handle has a cracked cover. I have a replacement that matches my other handles perfectly. With the passive lock system is there enough slack in the wire inside the door to swap these without taking the door interior apart?

That would be awesome...but I have a feeling I'll be taking the door apart. Thanks!

I saw this video posted on another thread but I'll post it on mine also. FYI, I was able to contact the guy who made the video. He said he thinks there's enough slack for the rear door handles...but I'll know for sure when I pull the handle, LOL!

I'll post an update when I get my handle and break my friggin door fix my door.

If I'm feelin' frisky I might even do up a little DIY video.

Definitely not long enough. And it’s clipped to the inside framework of the door. Have to take the inside door panel off.
