Getting ready to change the rear drum brakes on my '99 Yukon. When I checked them a short time ago the right drum had to be pryed off, it was so tight. I backed the adjuster off until the drum went on cleanly and they were fine for a few weeks. Yesterday they locked up in reverse for the first cold start. After they warmed up they were ok. Today they were way too tight again. Had to pry the drum off again. Anybody else have a similar problem or know why the adjuster keeps making them too tight? I might add, this only happens on the right rear. The left rear is fine.

The drum isn’t warped is it? Sounds like the springs are giving way. The new kit fixes all of that.
