Question regarding the rear suspension on air ride equipped models.

Recently me and my friend have been having a debate, and id like to ask if any one can clear it up,

He says that the lower suspension at the back of the new yukon/ tahoes, rises if you raise the air suspension, i dont quite agree, and id like to know if anyone has any concrete evidence or facts regarding it. attached is a picture explaining the part im referring to, if the air suspension is set to high, will there be more than 12.5cm of clearance?

The suspension does go up and down, front and rear. But that particular area you are referring to will not change at all except with taller tires.
