I am in the process of doing the same.. Headers are on. Test fit Kooks Y pipe and Cats. I am AWD in my 14 denali. On drivers side, just dropped front U joint of front drive shaft to put in header from under !

I did a B&M deep cast alum trans pan.. Looks like I wont have to touch the exhaust anymore to drop the pan for service , YAY !!

I had mine high temp ceramic coated locally. It's a 1800* coating as I am also doing
my edelbrock supercharger at the same time.
I just checked my fit with stock ac delco irridium plugs and my stock plug wires.
I have decided to order different plug wires that have a bend on the plug end too.
They are the ceramic booted ones from summit racing. SUM-881102.. even with
heat socks on, I "think" the plug end of a few of the boots will touch right on the headers.
I also just put in the Hummer motor mounts. Along with new gm trans mount.
And my upgraded Circle D Trans Stage 3 Rebuild Kit and an upgraded torque converter with 1800 stall.
I plan on lots of towing, so I want everything to be bullet proof.
THIS forum has got me spending money on upgrades like it's pre covid !!!
