nice!! Getting exciting now. These guys are rocking and rolling this build.
They're moving along. Little heads up. Doesn't matter who does your build, prepare for some bumps along the way. We've had some things. A guy I know who is building a large custom home with no budget has had a similar experience. We've worked through everything so far, so all is well that ends well. Everything was corrected, but it can be frustrating.

I expected perfection, and I know you'll be the same, so as long as it all works out, it'll be fine.

I hope yours goes flawless tho. If not, know that it's not just you.

Edit: when I say the guy has no budget, I'm talking $100k for ambient lighting that's engineered with 5 settings for time of day. No shadows in any area of the house. That includes none of the lights that are a fixture. "Can" lights only, kind of no budget. This is for a house that's smaller than mine....

You should camp out in there Sat night. Looks awesome bro.
We have some rain forecasted and Steph works, so I doubt I'll go out there this weekend. We'd hoped to have the roof on before any weather, but didn't happen. I'm just glad it has some protection.

Our builder did put some house wrap over the gap above the master bedroom window, so hopefully it doesn't get wet. The windows are wood on the inside, Andersen 400 series.

They didn't get the roof completely on, but mostly, according to my builder. They supposedly did get all the ice and water shield on all of the low pitches and anywhere else he thought it was needed, along with the roofing "felt" or whatever product they actually used on all of the rest. Hopefully it's dried in for the most part...

Drove out to see it. Maybe half the shingles are on. It was muddy so I didn't walk around the back. Still had some water in the areas the where they haven't covered the valleys, but not as bad as I thought. All of the windows were dry, so that's an upgrade.

Happy with our shingle color. The standing seam portions will be matte black.
