PPV..Got a new steering wheel

I hope it’s plug and play with the io6 stereo I put in. I don’t want to get the thing reflashed to get the buttons to work, but if I have to, then I have to. I didn’t go the route of the heated wheel/collision detection deal. I got a steal for nice leather wheel for $56. Couldn’t pass it up!!

You have to upgrade the cluster it controls the steering wheel features.

The gauge cluster. I am going to swap mine to Denali cluster. I was told you could use any cluster with the 4 or 8 in screen between the tac and speedometer and you have to add a wire.

im not doing that. When I resell it, the certified spedometer would go away. Im happy with just the leather wheel i guess

Getting the buttons to work is apparently extremely difficult. Only specific clusters will work with specific truck models and there is more than a wire that needs to be added. It sounds worse than installing the io6 upgrade I did.
