I remember reading about this a long time ago and now that I've got a Hybrid of my own..I can't help but want to try it!

The general idea is to plug the hybrid into your house, not to charge the truck, but to act as a generator to power the house!
It is obviously possible, but the question is..where do I tap into a proper power supply in the truck to take advantage of all the power in the big battery bank?

From that, it looks like the 300v battery can supply a constant 30kW! That means 250 amps at 120v (peaks at 500 amps)! Definitely enough to run the whole house.
I wonder what the 300V -> 12V system is rated at? If I put even just a 5kW inverter on the 12v side...would the 300V keep the 12V full and run in Auto-Stop mode?
Or maybe find a way to turn the 300V DC into a 240V AC line?
