Hi all,
I have a Gibson dual-exit catback exhaust installed on my '15 Tahoe and I am looking at getting some headers to install.
What are the benefits/drawbacks to long-tube vs. shorty headers? Will Gibson headers be the only ones that work with my exhaust system? Also, what material (ceramic coated vs. chrome plated vs. stainless steel) would be best for long-term use?
I know there are other brands out there for great exhaust headers, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know. I am just concerned that certain brands may not be compatible with my system.
One last thing... If I get headers, would I need a Y-pipe (with or without catalytic converters)? I am not super familiar with the workings of a full exhaust system.
