anyone else had this problem? My ‘15 Tahoe just started doing this. It pops once when reversing with the wheel cut to the right. Only once, no matter how far I back up. Everything under the front appears to be tight. My initial thoughts are CV Axle or wheel bearing. But it’s not roaring when driving down the road, and it doesn’t do it when going forward. Putting it in 4wd doesn’t affect it either way.

My other though was a stuck caliper, but I haven’t had a chance to check that yet.

Any ideas?

Does the same thing happen if you go forwar first? Try backing in at home so your first move is forward.
