Me too. My parents did let me borrow their car on the weekend and pick me up during the week while I saved for my first truck. So I can't complain too much but I did have to pay for my own insurance (I was added to their insurance before I had my own wheels) and for any gasoline I used
My first car was a 1976 Impala with 13K miles that cost $1000 in 1987. I bought a 2004 Grand Marquis with 210K miles for $1800 for my kids. My 2 oldest sons helped change out the pads and rotors, struts/shocks/springs and radiator before the oldest one even got his license. If you’re gonna drive, you’re gonna know how to maintain.

Friends house with her 3 kids Odyssey...cannot imagine what the interior looks like

CR-V on the flat bed hit the dump truck somewhere by the front wheel/door drivers side. There are a couple heavy wreckers waiting to tow it away. 3rd accident , make that 4th as another one today near the main road by my house.

The wrecker had the dump truck jacked up last night and a guy was under it. Smelled like transmission fluid and it looked like the driveline was down.

Today sand was all over the road soaking up fluid.

what a mess!!

they were all caught pretty much red handed, cops were swarming, couple kids died on Wednesday about a 1/4 from my house, they hit a tree at high speed car exploded and they were trapped and burned inside so the "sideshow" was supposed to be a fundraiser for there funeral but it all went bad, this was about 2 blocks from my house I just turned on the scanner, people were reporting wreckless driving & shots fired, I didn't hear any gunfire I think people just make shit up to get the cops to show up
