P257D Code Stored

2018 Chevy Tahoe LT. I got an alert from OnStar about this code: P257D Engine Hood Switch. There is no check engine light on, or hood ajar light on, however. When I run an OBDII check, it shows the code stored. Any insight on this? I assume the hood latch and sensor will need to be replaced?

could be the hood switch is getting stuck or something, might try pulling the center grill off and spray it with some wd40
