Well Im back again my truck has been running pretty good with no oil leaks since the rear main seal replacement. But I am now getting a P0172 and P0175. While putting the truck back together the only thing I was curious that I didn't connect correctly was the 2 oxygens sensors on the passenger side because both connectors were so close together...so basically I probably have the upstream o2 sensor connected to the downstream o2 connector... do the upstream and downstream o2 sensor use the same connector as well

The electrical connectors are different but you can thread them into the same holes if the wires are long enough. I'd get that fixed quick before it kills the cats.

Ok cool they should be connected correctly. The only o2 that was removed was the passenger side top to get to the exhaust nut.

Update: The other morning I started the truck and the engine light was off. However the next day or 2 the check engine light came on

Ive been doing a little research and I see that these engines have a high pressure fuel pump under the intake manifold that can cause the p0172 and p0175. Is there a way to confirm there is a problem with the high pressure fuel pump??? like if it's leaking or something??

There is no high pressure fuel pump under the manifold. Not sure where that one came from. :)
