30CA3B74-865B-4F27-92DD-D173330C9957.pngMy tahoe doesn’t have the jl1 brake controller from the factory I was wondering if anyone has bought this and was able to use it even though it didn’t come stock? Thanks

Nope... that's just a replacement switch ...
You will need "All the factory stuff" to make it work...
Best choice is just an aftermarket brake kit

What Foggy says. You'd literally have to take the truck apart, replace multiple wiring harnesses and and have everything reprogrammed as it is truly integrated.

Tekonsha Prodigy 90250 on my last 2 trailers for the last 10 yrs behind the yukon and motorhome. Trailer has to have a 12v battery.Tekonsha Prodigy  90250.jpg
