I bought a 16" Flip down screen for my '07 Tahoe. I pulled the dome light down today to see what I would be up against. I noticed there are 4 mounting holes that are pre-tapped, I'm guessing for factory RSE. Has anyone else noticed these?

It looks as if I can just cut the hump out around the dome light, and use the pre-tapped holes to mount a piece of plywood. Then mount the bracket for the screen to the plywood.

I did not notice these, but I was able to retain my dome light by installing my screen right in front of it. (my screen is only 12 inches though) That is interesting though, I am going to check that out.

You must not have a sunroof, eh?

nevermind. I see the image now. With the sunroof it forces me to put it over the domelight.
