Opinion on seat condition

I always noticed my passenger seat was a different shade/color than the rest and I figured someone cleaned only that section and left the rest but after further inspection I noticed this...

is this clean or is it like the dye coming off?

looks to me like the dye has worn off or it was cleaned with something it shouldn't have been like some kind of bleaching agent

I agree with @Doubeleive. Dye is definitely coming off. The good thing is that you can take your interior paint code to an upholstery shop and they should have some liquid or can/compressed dye you can spray on after prepping and taping the area. Good luck.

Hard to tell exactly from the pic, but to me it looks like the 1 piece was actually replaced.
