Ok got my amp back from memphis

New motherboard installed she beats great one lil problem da setup i have i have the cap grounded under the back seats where the amp is and i hear the acceleration of my truck thru da speakers and its annoying.......any other sugesstions for ground spot

It also might be where the power wire is run or if the other wires are run near the power wire.

The ground should be ok, but I don't know for sure

is it your woofer amp? cuz then it shouldnt really matter..
i'd run a separate ground if i were you. I wouldnt run it directly off the cap. you'll get better current if it has its own ground.

if i were you i would drill a hole through the floor. And ground to the frame. Like me haha

I don't suggest anyone drilling holes into there body. Just another hole for elements to get in.

I capped mine in the rear seats. Gte out the sand paper make sure theres no paint its metal to metal. Like the other guy said...noise is from the positive wire.

is it a bass amp??? they should not have noise??

do you have a pioneer hu? if so that is prob your problem

yeah, if you dont amplify it as much it wont be as loud... still wouldnt fix your problem tho...

^^Agreed, either that or the RCAs are too close to the power wire.

Its probably something simple, it always seems to be like that. Also where is the power wire run through the engine compartment?

try this... take the radio out and use the ground from the radio to the rca shield.. if that gets rid of the noise then the pico(sp) fuse is bad on the radio...
