I have a 99 Tahoe 2-Door 4x4 with 76K runs Great. Anways, When I first start it the Oil pressure jumps up to at least 60 psi or higher. And it stays there for the most part while I'm driving. It will go around 40 when I'm at 25 mph. But when i come to a stop sighn it drops to around 20-25psi..I don't get it..The runs great..No noises, smooth full power..And when I hit the gas it jumps right back up to 60 psi. Whats the issue here?

unknown at this time.
Oil going from cold to hotty viscosity. Don't worry about now it is fine. In Arizona climate as long as you never see below 0 degrees you can use 10w-30 if you prefer instead of the 5w-30 it makes you feel better.

There is no issue, you only need 1PSI per 100 RPMs/10PSI per 1000RPMs in a small block Chevy. 20 PSI at idle which is probably 650ish is more then adequate.

Mine is the same.

It is actually lower now since I changed the oil......probably not as thick with crap.

This is normal.
