Oil consumption

Just saw this and wondered if any DMAX peeps noticed any higher than normal oil consumption. Note that this applies to both the LM2 and LZ0 engines:

Interesting. I'm scheduled for an oil change this week after 5K mile interval. Level is barely off the full mark.

Done 3 changes, always right on full mark. Maybe check it once a month anymore. Has never been a concern….

Did my first oil change at 1300 miles. I never noticed any usage, but the dipstick was reading high from the extra quart added at the factory. We now have 3.8K on the clock and just got back from a 2K mile road trip to Southern California.

Picture shows where I’m at now. I will note I pushed it HARD when we were going through the passes near Ashland and Mt. Shasta. I expect this bit of oil consumption to be normal at this stage of the engine life. GM expects it to burn some early on given the extra quart they add.
