Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2015 Tahoe after selling my 2014 Tundra. I threw wheels and a leveling kit on my Tundra and it wound up completely destroying the ride. Luckily I was able to get out of the truck with losing only a very minimal amount of money.
That being said, I am looking to modify the height of my Tahoe but I do not want to fall victim to ruining the ride again, and I am now seeking your help. I am looking to drop the Tahoe 1 to 2 inches in the front and 3 to 4 inches in the rear. I have been lurking on the forum for the past 24 hours trying to get some ideas and it seems there are a few options.
Option 1: http://www.mcgaughys-suspension.com/chevrolet-tahoe-2015-2-3-deluxe-drop-kit-mcgaughys-part/
Option 2: http://www.mcgaughys-suspension.com...15-2-3-economy-drop-kit-mcgaughys-part-34065/
Option 3: http://www.crownsuspension.com/lowering-kits/2/4-lowering-drop-coils-springs-ext-kit/
Option 4: http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=58
Of course there are probably more kits out there, but some combination of these seem to be the most common on this particular forum. Being the complete suspension noob that I am, I really can't decipher which kit will be the best and I am hesitant to ask a shop as they will most likely try to up-sell me or be biased.
So I am here now, asking those whom are experienced with this issue, what will be the best kit to achieve the most superior ride quality? I messed this up with my Tundra, so I want to play it a bit more safe this time around. If there is another kit that you would recommend, please let me know as well.
Thanks for your time in advance.
EDIT: The vehicle in question is a 2015 Tahoe LT, so no auto ride.
