No factory fog lights

I know lighting has been covered in abundance. I searched and couldn’t find any info for my problem.

my 01 didn’t come with factory fog lights. There are cut outs in the front spoiler for them. But I don’t have the lights or the button.

I’m sure some one has covered this. I just haven’t found it. I would like to have the factory set up. But if that’s more effort/money than it worth I have an idea of where I will put some rocker switches.

I am sure that there is a spot on your dash for a switch. Maybe even to the right of the headlight switch and below the 4wd switches, like on my 2002 Tahoe. Getting the fog light assemblies themselves would be easy at RA and the wiring harness may already be there but are tied back.

Thank you for list. There is a spot near the interior dimmer that I could mount a factory style button. Before to long I will be getting a new bumper. That is probably when I will do my next round of lighting.

Why not just get a foglight kit from ebay. Bought something similar for my 01 1500HD, came with lamps and harness to turn them on. All you would need is to just purchase 4 bolts and 4 u-nuts to mount them.
