NNBS shifter on 04 Escalade

I put one in mine. Used a nbs male plug and a nnbs female plug to make a harness so I can easily switch back to stock later. Tow/haul works like a charm

Does the one you got have the stitching on the front or the back?

The stitching is on the back, it’s a brown leather which will tie into the wood grain trim nicely

hardest part might be getting the plastic covers off the column.

Pull the dash bezel & the trim under the steering wheel it makes it easier imo, to pry those covers off you can probably pull it all apart by hand might need a very thin flat head screw driver to loosen it up, that’s what I did
