What brings me to this forum is:

I bought a new to me 2011 LTZ 4x4, mocha steel ext. and titanium interior with just over 135k miles. I was planning to replace: charcoal canister, air shocks, tires, alignment, and change out all the fluids. I'm also going to fix the dash (currently has the glued on cover).

something i just noticed is the engine hours read 1145.4 with 135,644 miles on the odometer. My math say's that's an average speed of 118 mph....am i missing something. no service records were included with the vehicle. I did notice the rear diff cover looks to have been serviced since i could see some of the gasket sealant just around the edge of the diff cover. It had a clean auto check report included in the classified listing.

I plan on letting my kiddos drive this for a couple of years in HS and then take it back and make it mine....

The battery probably went dead at some point over the years. Mine has reset twice like this.

Welcome and thanks for the pics, looks to be in great shape. I see those Live Oaks, you in Florida or Georgia?

Welcome from Miami&NYC!

Nice Tahoe!

No service records would not work for me even though auto check says a clean report. But that is just me.

Check out the 2007-2014 section for any issues that come up. You will get awesome help there.

i have an 07 silverado with about 6800 hrs and 220k miles..i would like to get 10,000 hrs before an overhaul...i didn't think the hr. meter would reset and was like the odometer. good to know it can reset without a battery connected for a while, but if it zeros out, what's the point chevy?
