Since pulling my engine in April and de-Grunging it ,new seals,gaskets,timing set, Ignition . I keep getting the Service Engine Light on .
So far I've spent close to $200.00 on a dealership diagnostic check and new Crank Sensor .
I had codes for O2 Sensor , Crank Sensor and Trans. Control Module .
I found my grounds were all corroded , So I replaced them or cleaned them as needed .
Things went well for 50 miles and the light was back on . So I went to O'Reillys (Diag. Check is free vs. $75.00 at Dlr. Ship).
There I got Trans Cont. Module and a different O2 Sensor Post Converter Rt. Bank # P0157 .
After Cleaning and replacing the grounds the light was on again after 50 miles .
This time the Trans.Control Modulle was there again (1100) or (700) ;
and a different O2 Sensor Code PO135 Heater Circuit Malunction Pre-
Converter Left Bank .
I've been told to pull the O2 Sensors and clean them and make sure the connections are also clean .New O2 Sensors are $240.00 , which I haven't
got .
The Trans "seems" fine but I've had the TCM Code come back 3 times now .
Hoping someone here is a Trans Tech and can lend a hand .
Thanks,
Steve
