I have a 2002 tahoe and it sat really big in the front before supposed to be 3.5 spindles and 3 inch keys it is squatted at the moment but I got the truck to redo everything.. I rebuilt the front end and put everything back together but now the truck is sitting almost on the tire in the front maybe a torsion bar or key problem I am not sure have pics of how it sits before I can’t maybe fit 2 fingers between the fender now any help?

i dont recall the process on the 90s torsion bars but i do recall needing to install and set everything in a specific order and position. regardless did you use an unloading tool and or fully lift the truck in the air? if i recall the key can be put on in any direction. if its lifted in the air it should have most of the twist out of it and you should be able to unload it pretty easily but if clocked it incorrectly its probably not doing much.

What do you mean when you say that you rebuilt the front end? How far did you tear down and what parts were replaced?

Did you check everything to make sure nothing is on upside down or backwards?

Did you take note of how far the keys were cranked before all the work was done?

As mentioned, the torsion bar and jets should be installed and clocked with the front wheels off the ground.

Maybe try and post some pictures of your front end so maybe folks can see how things are put together now. Keys, spindles, etc.

Replaced everything except lower control arm and I did not keep track of any marking didn’t know I needed to lol I think the torsion bar or key isn’t in there right at all.

The truck was fully lifted and set down on jack stands I think they need to be put back in but I’m not sure how so much lift from the spindles and the keys are sitting almost on the tire now

Any photos of the keys and how they are installed?
