Need help on buying decision!

I found a 2004 Chevy Traiblazer LT Extended i6 w/ 4wd that I may trade my 2002 VW Passat Wagon for. I just need to know if this is gonna be a good trade. Both a similar blue book wise and condition wise. Is the Trailblazer a reliable choice or is it going to be a pain in the ass. I need to be able to tow a 21ft Yamaha SX210 and a large pop-up so towing is important until I get my Yukon fixed. So can anybody give me some good info on these and help me decide if this is a good investment or a money pit.
