11/14/17. A buddy of mine built this enclosure for 2 18’s and never used it so I got it for a good deal. Almost used it but decided to go a different route and sold it instead. F7F5D4C5-B3EB-4F0D-A383-47591227B400.jpeg

11/18/17 after a couple months with the new wheel and tire setup. Started to remember how much fun wide mud tires are during the winter. This was just driving to a friends house that lives down a dirt/gravel road. Looks like I went through a mud hole. D8DB3F57-73F7-487B-9689-152366F11D71.jpeg

My room mates wanted a Christmas tree so finally had an excuse to use the roof rack 9715F6D6-098E-4051-AAA3-031AFEE6647A.jpeg
12/8/17 made a run to the wrecking yard and found climate control knobs on a Escalade so swooped those up. Also threw my factory airbox back on to draw some actual colder air into the bay unlike the open cone filter before. 2EE94BE1-9EFD-4CE7-8A66-6D963D2347CA.jpegB8DAA298-BB00-45C9-B30E-730828C02DDB.jpeg

12/15/17 another run to the wrecking yard got me a cluster out of a 01 2500 with trans temp. I was at 167k miles on mine though and the hd cluster was at 280k miles. Posted on a Tahoe page on Facebook asking who could change the mileage to match. With some dumb luck I found a guy on the east coast with this cluster reading 500 miles more than mine and the cluster I had was 1000 miles more than his actual miles. We both shipped clusters to each other and it was a win win  also took some pictures out by my house around sunset. 74B7EE14-6D8D-48FE-B18E-395CED4AF112.jpeg978DF8D5-CF9D-43D9-9725-745D00F570CF.jpeg 0F4C4F1A-05DF-4E52-BA8A-E8C2C83EA8A6.jpegB3F2058B-1332-4657-A87A-B5E86FF1E558.jpeg 75C2E615-5078-4005-B398-95E7D39D77FC.jpeg

Phewww we have made it to 2018, getting closer.
1/14/18 when I originally put my focals in I ran 165as components on the front, and 6.5 lower grade coaxial focals in the rear. Well I blew through two sets of the coaxials so finally decided to not be cheap and match the rear speakers even if I never really hear them. Haha 441018E9-F995-448E-AC6C-91556731B575.jpegDCF051EF-AC6C-45B1-8BD7-6CCE3C5E3881.jpeg 85FD36D3-E7C2-4838-915B-5D2F23080CF9.jpeg1B98374D-8C6C-4D85-A8BD-28032595E69C.jpeg
2/7/18. Moving again here she is loaded and ready. 84CF0765-8EB8-47EC-8943-220ABB5A21CE.jpeg

2/19/18. Looking back I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since the Tahoe has been in snow. This was the last trip I took playing in the white powder. AA9EFC7B-BBFB-4688-B1BE-4DF82E628B51.jpeg7ABE7097-E9B0-402F-A86B-9B263548AAD6.jpeg
So my next photos are dated 3/17/18. Before I post those I will explain first. The first long road trip I took the Tahoe on I found out it had the common low oil pressure and tick issue as if my pickup tube oring had ripped. Bandaided it by using Lucas oil stabilizer for 2 years. Wellllll on a Saturday night I just happened to see some buddies walking out of a restaurant. First thought? Yeah rev limiter **** the horn. After that my oil pressure drop to about 15 and stayed there :badidea::chair::emotions122:
03/17/18 off comes the oil pan. To my surprise the oring is perfect. I replaced it anyways. Turns out there was a good amount of sledge caked to the bottom of the pan. Pickup tube was packed full of shit. Decided to do valve cover gaskets while I was at it because it did leak a decent amount since I got it, those were caked as well. I am religious about oil changes on this. Luckily the motor looked super clean everywhere I could see inside. My guess is previous owner ran some flushes through the motor and never got everything cleaned out correctly it just all accumulated onto the bottom of the pan and valve covers. Fixed all that, no more leaks, no more ticks, perfect oil pressure....weirrrrdd lol E5CC3398-81BB-4ECD-9B7A-2CB13C715AC7.jpeg9A98590C-A2D9-4EE2-80AE-56E0B8640E94.jpeg E6A71677-A2F2-44DA-BD06-6C20C8D885DC.jpeg
FYI not everything in that drain pan was in my motor. Just the black sludge that I picked out before pressure washing everything.
