I found a thread saying camaro long tubes fit with a bit of massaging around the steering shaft and it clears the silly oil cooler. I think that’ll be the direction I’ll be taking.

Broward County still has a lot of those Caprice's still on the road. The Leo's prefer them over their Hemi Charger. They very recently bought a lot of 2019 Tahoe's to replace some of their tin can Explorers.

I’ve heard similar from other officers. Actually had a Chicago police officer talk to me at a light about how big of a ************* his na Explorer was and how fast the v8 caprice is and if only he was allowed to have one. Was pretty funny.
It’s been a blast to drive though and the new cam/tune/exhaust has made it feel so much better. I dread driving our SSV these days. Hoping in the spring that gets the same treatment.
