Alright my turn to get in on this. I absolutely love that GMC gave the Denali a bespoke layout. Sad that it’s going away. I too, prefer the integrated screen in the dash vs the stuck on tablet look. Looks more upscale and thought out. The gear selector, lol, soooo many people have gotten their panties in a twist over it. It’s simple, clean, easily accessible, and works.

Overall, the 2021-2024 Denali interior is going to age very well.
I don't think its going away...it got even better on the 25, per the sneak peaks.

Notice I said “bespoke”. GMC is no longer going to be offering a “Denali only” dash layout anymore. The giant screen in the 2025+ will be available in lower trim levels too.

“A horizontal screen will be mounted behind the steering wheel and a portrait-style screen mounted to the center stack. Note that there will be no difference in the screen layout between Denali and non-Denali trims, as is the case currently.”
But that one does…we’ll see. Maybe the layout will be the same amongst trims but the materials different?

Materials will more than likely differ between trims like they always have. The point is that the Denali will not have a unique dash layout like it has for 2021-24.

The big center screen is similar to the Ford Expedition and I didn’t like that design. The rear refresh has 2 smaller exhaust tips going through the rear bumper. The 4 exhaust ports on the current models looks and sounds great I can’t believe they would change thi!

The refresh looks just like the smaller euro SUV style or mini van which is definitely not the right way to go IMO. I can’t believe they would emasculate an amazing truck like this!

GM is one of the few brands that has a V8 option with dual exhaust and performance oriented.

I love the weather techs…they are a perfect match for the lower black trim on the vehicle.
Just installed the Weathertech 4 piece and they look great, very pricey though....

Does your truck have fixed or retracting running boards? Mine has retracting, and the WT are really the only viable option. It just so happens that they’re really easy to install and look great, too.

A bit late but do you mind posting a few angles and close up up these mud guards? I have the fixed running boards on my ‘24 XL SLT but thinking I’m going to put some mud guards on. Not sure I like the OEM ones or not.

Here you go. Let me know if you need different pics. Sorry the truck is so dirty, but it’s a mess up here in PA right now.

Thanks man! It’s even worse over here in Nova Scotia. Salt, ice, snow, slush non stop this past month. I’m afraid to take the Yukon out of the garage, especially without any mud guards! The F150 looks like it’s been on a battlefield lol.

Somebody suggested a catch can for the 3.0, which one you all using?

On the 2025 tahoe I’m looking forward to installing the auto stop eliminator. Looks like it’ll be a blind finger tip install.

Sounds like weather Tec mud guards for the auto running boards

Don't bother with a catch-can. There's minimal oil to catch and they can cause problems in extreme cold weather. There's a catch can made by VSE and an owner of an LM2 Duramax had their rear main seal blow out because the catch overfilled causing the crankcase to build up excess pressure.

If "there's minimal oil to catch" then what caused "the catch overfilled"?

An oil catch can absolutely has a benefit,,, but ,,,it does require the owner to actually drain it once in awhile (not often, like every oil change or so). Anything you ignore long enough is gonna cause issues.

For the inattentive owner , then yeah , skip the catch can, yes they help with limiting the amount of carbon buildup in the intake track for sure, but they are one more thing to remember.

For those owners that intend to keep the vehicle longer term, and can remember to drain the catch can during each oil change, then an oil catch can will prolong the time before a walnut shell blast cleaning of the intake ports is required (excess carbon buildup in the intake track is a condition all GDI engines suffer from, not just the GM's)
...

The catch can we’re talking about is for the diesel, yes? The gassers the oily mist is gums up the intake valves, di. For the diesel I’m not sure but boat diesels I’ve operated, you want a catch can because the oil mist goes into the turbo gunking up the compressor turbines. Is this the same for the 3.0 baby max?

It fills up with condensation during cold weather.

Just called j&l. They do not make a separator for the 3.0. Something about higher cylinder pressures.

this is what I did to mine right away:
Auto stop eliminator
xpel tint on all windows including windshield
Banks pedal monster
illuminated sills
floor mats for all rows and trunk
swapped all the chrome and blacked it out
changed the rims/tires
changed side markers
installed illuminated front gmc sign
gmc puddle lights
starlight headliner
front/rear dash cam
ceramic coating
painted calipers

you can lick and choose what you need but eventually you will do all of them haha
