Yes Sir the price was good. If I had taken it elsewhere they would have charged me more than a 100$ for just removing the tank.
Mechanic is an old friend. Also support him by taking all my friends there for their mechanic needs as well.
None of those specify directly if it'll read and/or clear SRS ("airbag") codes. But, I Googled "does obdlink mx+ read srs codes" and the first hit was this: https://www.obdadvisor.com/obdlink-mx-plus-review/ That VGate VLinker is probably the same.
I have that OBDLink MX, but I've never had to pull any ABS codes with it so I can't tell you for sure if it actually does.
Think ill get the vgate one. As it is half the price. And I'm sure I wont use it all the time. Also the vgate has a newer Bluetooth version. TY
Sorry, that's what I meant, SRS (airbag) not ABS. It says that it's supposed to be able to, but I've never had any airbag codes to scan so I can't verify that it does. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I like the Innova 5510. Reads and clears the SRS among other things. https://www.innova.com/product/detail/5510/CarScan-Tech
It's nice and can even bleed the ABS solenoids. But, at that price you may as well spend ~$50 more and get a Tech2 and be able to do just about anything and everything. Something like that Innova would be good if you had non-GM vehicles, though.
