I ordered some 2" lowering springs with shock brackets from Amazon, trying to assist my golden retriever getting in and out. I installed them this morning and it was a fairly straightforward process. What would have taken a shop an hour to complete took me four. They seemed to do just what they said, lowering about 2". I'll measure again after I've driven it for a week. Mine has the ZW7 suspension, so no automatic leveling or fancy stuff to deal with. I forgot to take a pic before starting, so the pic on the right was from the ad when I bought it. So far, so good...

Thanks for all the help rendered by the post on this forum. I would not have attempted without them!!!

Looks great and I’m sure your pup (we need pup pictures) will appreciate it. Did your kit come with shock extenders?

They did come with the shock brackets. Rides about the same, but easier to get in and out. Pics of my 130# golden attached. He did go up and down the ramp after I lowered it a couple of inches.
