Just installed it and did a quick run around the neighborhood.

Love the thing. Acceleration is improved, Tahoe feels much lighter. Shifts are crisp, especially 1-2. Can't wait to do more driving. Currently, 87 in the tank but will be putting 91 next time I fill up. But so far, I like it.


Pretty much what I have done and what I will be doing. Then he just told me what my best option would be.

Got the standard stage 1 chip.

Not much. I want to fill up just to see how if I gained anything in the fuel department, was getting 12mpg.

Also found Flex a lite e-fans for $484 shipped so looking at those. How do you like yours so far. I mean, from the little driving you have done.

im around 10mpgs But i hardly ever figure out the mpg bullcrap, i haven't done it to the hoe after the fans tho.

Thats not a bad price. Probably the cheapest for brandnew fans. I dont have any complaints yet. knock on wood. But the only thing ive heard of these fans failing is the module burning up. The only thing that took me a while was finding a 12v power source for the ignition. Other then that, straight forward. No need for a lift, but you will have to crawl under your truck and make a couple markings then come out and drill em out. Pretty damn quite, you can actually hear the internals of your motor without the big mechanical fan lol. With the cowl hood, it kicks ass at a red light, you can literally see the heat pouring out of the rear vent in the hood when the fans kick on. makes it look like the car in front is on fire. lol

for 200 bucks it was worth every damn penny i had. But considering yours is double and with your money income its up to you man. It was deff a big jump in my performance section, like i wouldnt be scared to race a couple cars here and there from just the fans. Really wakes up the motor. You can drive to the store and back and not even turn the fans on. In your case it might because of it being Cali! haha I love em to be honest. Probably one of the best mods i did along with TYC hids. hahah
