Liftgate won't unlock

Has anyone else run into this - I have bought 2 different actuators on Amazon and BOTH of them work backwards - lock unlocks and unlock locks. The motor moves the opposite direction it should . But twice?!?

May be a design flaw from that seller. Can you just repin the connector?

"2 different actuators" Different "brands," different sellers. Of course, all these Amazon parts are probably made in the same factory. I've ordered another one for a little more money, hoping it will work.
Something is fishy. They have good reviews and no one has mentioned this problem. I put my original back in and it works until it doesn't. It freezes up but I can can force it loose. I'm not going to chance screwing up my connector.
