Liftgate Problems

I got a 2016 Tahoe over the weekend. All of the sudden the power liftgate doesn't want to work. If I press the inside button or the key fob, it will open about 6 inches. I press either button again and it will close. If I press the button on the inside of the handle on the liftgate, it will open about 6 inches. When I press the button inside the handle it opens about 6 inches more. It will open in 6 inch increments 5 or 6 times, and then it will stop.

Has anyone else had this happen? I wasn't able to find anything when searching the forum.

Do a Google search. There is a TSB for the lift gate actuator.

It was the liftgate actuator.
