So you do not think they're worth using? I was hoping to get a touchless wash for the dodge that I could to areas underneath also.

I thin they are worth it, as the soap dis lodges the dirt and carry's it away encapsulated in the foam. leaving a cleaner surface to begin with the hand wash.
Less chance of dirt contaminating your mits and scratching the paint

I foam a car then pressure wash it and then foam it again and then wash it.

You cant do this every single time though

Make washing your car faster, fun, and more effective with Adam’s Car Wash Foam Gun. This hose-end sprayer attaches to a standard garden hose and allows you to deliver a luxurious foam bath to your vehicles finish using our super concentrated Car Shampoo.

Are you now saying the hose attachment is just as good or better than the pressure hose attachment?

I like the idea of both. IMO the pressure washer helps take debris off and the soap then helps afterwards. As the garden hose just relays on the soap. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Garden hose doesn't require gas. Just depends on time allotted to wash as well or how good a job needs done

LOL

Here is what I personally did.

1. Got a pressure washer from Sams club Black Max

2. Got a gilmore foam gun

3. Got 2 buckets and 2 Grit guards

4. Got a bunch of wash mits that look like this

autogeek_2270_135321229.jpg

Use this combination EVERY single week for the past 2 years almost.

I personally DO NOT want to drag the pressure washer out EVERY single time I wash to be able to use the foam canon.

The hose thingy works well enough for me.

It is better to get better soap than better foam gun and bad soap that wont cling and clean.

I have read of some people on AGO that stopped using foam cannons because they feel it is a waste of soap and water.

You may feel the same way eventually..... so I suggest getting a hose foam gun thingy

IMO the pressure washer helps take debris off and the soap then helps afterwards.

When you are using the foam canon the pressure washer provides ZERO cleaning pressure. Its just gentle foam. The dirt does not get pushed off
