Left Front - Noise

2019 Tahoe Z71 - recently noticed slight thumping noise from left side front around 40mph over bumps, etc. Can hear down by footwell. Thoughts? Thanks all!

Or maybe the strut/shock mount. Is still under warranty, right? Have the dealer check it.

Will do....just afraid of the “unable to duplicate” response. Lol

look under the truck and see if the swaybar endlink is still present or if it is missing a bushing that would make some noise like you are reporting

That sounds like you should be able to duplicate the "noise" pretty easily. If your cell can pick it up while driving, that would help as well.

Is it common for the front swaybar endlinks to become loose and detach? OR the swaybar mount bushings to wear down to nothing?

Is anyone replacing them with polyurethane bushings instead of rubber?

Poly is a better feel, IMO, and tend to last longer but are also more $. Common occurrence for them to go bad? Depends on how the rig is driven, rust belt or not, miles/age of the rig, quality of the old parts.......etc.

sway bar bushing or ball joints are my guess

typically the end links will loose a bushing and be loose or break off entirely, the D bushings normally are ok but need to be greased up
