The Phillips 921 back up lights that were used on the previous gen. Will they work on the 21’s

Would resistors solve the error problem? Can’t stand the incandescents, particularly in the reverse lights.

I bought some LED reverse lights off of eBay that included resistors that work! The first set resistors I tired must of been too small. The LEDs are pretty bright too.

i quickly glanced at this thread, but a few quick points...LED can be
1. polarity sensitive
2. not all bulbs are the same, some are designed with resistance in the module
3. RESEARCH YOUR FLASHER...most fail to know that the flasher can be swapped to a lower voltage/wattage (LED SPECIFIC FLASHER), allowing the hyper flash and lamp out indicator to work properly

Pretty tight behind the tail light
assembly. where did you put the resistor?
There’s plenty of room. I just zipped tied the resistor to the wire loom. Reverse lights don’t stay on very long so there shouldn’t be a problem with them getting too hot.
