Replacing that sensor is typically not something they do when they change your fuel pump.
Live fuel pressure data on your scanner reads from that sensor. When you first turn the key on but don't start the engine, 58 to 60 PSI is normal. After it's running, drops down to like 43 to 45 PSI.
A fuel pump on the way out might drop down below 43 PSI. And the initial pressure might be higher or lower than 58 to 60.
Post some data on what it's doing????
Not exactly sure why, but I've seen multiple instances where the fuel pump is on the way out, only putting out 35 PSI, and no check engine light or trouble code.
