L31 Vortec with TBI - Is it worth it?

I just put a 97 vortec in a 90 tbi. Used a jegs intake and adapter plate. You dont have to upgrade fuel/chip if your ok with 230hp. I upgraded my fuel pump(took the 97 and put in the 90). And put a neg spring in my regulator. I'm waiting for my chip but the truck still runs ok. After the chip I should be making around 400hp. I put all the sensors from the 90 in the 97 motor and left over you dont need. Timing is hardest part to me. No timing mark on vortec block so I had to make sure I lined up my distributor really close. It can be done just need the whole donor truck pretty much. I had to use parts from the donor and parts from the truck I was putting it in to make things right.
