but if you have it installed by an authorized dealer, your warranty is extended, and anything can be replaced almost on the spot (except install woes) at another authorized dealer.

Thanks to some advice from Blue, I've got KS 6.5" for both sets of doors. Brandy new, $120 for all four shipped, will be here Tuesday. (Yeah, I know, should go with components up front, but couldn't pass up the deal.)

Grrrr......the company sent me 6", not 6.5"!!!! AND they wanted to upcharge me $30 a pair for the KS65's!!!

I'm about as pissed off as a mako shark in a tank full of lima beans right now...

Yes, indeed they did. the guy was trying to tell me that they are the 6.5", I'm sitting there telling him the box says 6", the manual says 6".

Sad part is I was so excited that I pulled the door apart to install. I didn't think to look until I was trying to line the speaker up to drill mounting holes that I noticed they were 6".

yep, KS600's are 6". make them send a call tag, so you don't have to pay freight, their mistake.
