Just got my letter re: door handle fix, keep shouting for a dash fix

just got the letter today. they are reimbursing you or if not fixed yet, take it in and they will fix it as long as you don't have over 100k miles or your 2007 tahoe is older than 10 years. we must KEEP SHOUTING about our dash

yes my letter states that you "may have a peeling cond on the top surface of the front or rear chrome interior door handle(s) that could create a rough edge. In bold letters below that, "do not take your vehicle to your chevy dealer as a result of this letter unless you believe that your vehicle has the cond as described above".
they will replace the handlew within 10 years or 100k miles whichever occurs first

yeah i called gm today to complain about the handles and the dash. they set me up with a service rep and promised to handle this so we'll see how true that is.

Again, whats wrong with your dash? I have been a member on here since the beginning and don't really recall ever hearing much about a problem with the dash.

I believe they are referring to the dash cracking issue.

I see. I have seen a couple posts about peoples dash cracking, but that is not a common issue. Or at least it has not been for anyone I know or have ever talked too.

the cracked dash is a very common issue in the nnbs tahoes. i have had 3 friends have it happen to them and ive seen numerous posts about it.

above/around the left side of the hump where your gauges are.

this is the driver side crack, other crack is from airbag towards the windshield on passenger side. tis is an old pic, crack is now 4 inches longer moving to the left (around 7 o'clock) and up the hump
