How's it running?

Still looking into electrical. It has to be a bad ground or lost 12V at transmission. Let my buddy work on it but hasn’t had time. I may take it to an automotive electrician just so they can go through everything. I’ve found that the prior owner did some shady stuff with wires here and there. Other than that, it’s a beast!

In this case it would be a true mystery on all parts. The gauge cluster was pulled so absolutely no clue on mileage, condition etc...

I’va already taken on 1 20yr old mystery maintenance project on this truck!

If you ever want help on doing it, I gotchu! Should probably do a write up for the big block swap, since there’s really no info out there on how to do it.

This is my go-to salvage yard. Went today and found what I needed - a 160 amp alternator for $20.
Had to climb up the hill for the 1st 4 photos. Trucks/SUVs are way in the back.
