I have a 2003 Suburban Z71 4x4 with a low-mileage (50,000) engine... rougher frame.... and I have a complete chassis (everything that isn't in the body (so no steering wheel, yaw and sas) ) with perfect frame from a 2005 Yukon XL 4x4 with JL4.

Looking for some opinions...
Would it be better to build a JL4 Active Brake Control/Traction Control Suburban... or simply an ABS only Suburban?

What are your thoughts?

In plain English,
would it be better to have Stability Control AND Traction Control AND AntiLock Brakes? Or just Anti-Lock Brakes?
Only one opinion makes sense here: Stability Control AND Traction Control AND AntiLock Brakes is of course better than just ABS.

To oversimplify, do what you can with what you have.
If it costs too much in terms of time / energy / materials to incorporate SC & TC, then it's understandable that you just go with ABS ...

just remember that SC & TC are based on ABS and need ABS to be working properly, so my guess is if you can have one, you can have all three.

But do what you can with what you have.

I think the parts from the body, are easy enough to track down reasonably... Steering wheel with sas, traction control button and yaw sensor... The wiring and pigtails are the challenge

This is probably the wrong sub forum to ask.. but with a 2003 body, BCM, IPC, etc...and a 2005 chassis with JL4 brakes and ebcm.. is there any way I get them to coexist with out the dash looking like a Christmas tree...
I think the ABS will function independently of the body.. but will disable stabiltrak and traction control due to the lack of sas and yaw signals.. is it possible to operate it like that?
