Issue with signal fuse blowing when shifting into reverse

I have a 99 tahoe with a issue of blowing the signal light fuse everytime I shift into reverse I changed out the rear light boards and bulbs in hopes that may fix it , it worked good for apx 2 weeks then issue came back ,what other things could be causing this issue ?

Did you try it with the taillights disconnected? That would eliminate them as a source of the problem. I'd look at the shift linkage and see if any wires are rubbing.

Ill give that a try and see what happens hopefully it at least narrows it down

Adding to the above, janky or “homemade” trailer harness wiring can cause strange electrical gremlins.
