Here are a few pictures, I will post more soon. I have to admit, this install was a *****. Especially the back up camera. The only thing I did not install yet was my SWI-PS because I could not find the BCM harness (c1) referred to in the instructions. If anyone has installed one of these and can help me out I would deeply appreciate it. Anyway, the radio sounds good so far. It is a Pioneer avic-f700bt. I did quite a bit of research on it at avic411.com and for the most part it seems like a winner.

Nice setup! You have any more plans? Or previous mods for that matter?

Looks good, I can see why the install was hard, but most of the time the install with a PAC OS4 or OS3 makes it alot easier than other adapters.

That thing is sweet..How much you pay in total, and what model is it??

It's the Pioneer avic-f700bt, I think they are discontinued now the newest one comparable to it is the avic-x700bt not quite sure what the difference is. You can still find this model on eBay though. I bought it from Best Buy as an "open box item" for $300, but it did not come with any of the cables so I had to track them down on eBay and Pioneer's parts website. The total cost was around $450 to $500 for everything including the PAC SWI-PS for the steering wheel controls. For my OnStar interface I used the Metra GMOS-LAN-02 and it cost me about $100.

Modded - Yeah I wish I would have used the PAC adapter because it has a hook up for the PAC SWI-PS built in which is pretty sweet. Plus the wiring harnesses for that Pioneer are a PITA because they are so bulky, I hope I never have to take it out again unless I have to replace it, LOL!

Puckhead - I haven't done too much to it yet, just the audio/video stuff and tinted fronts to match the factory tint. I added a 12" drop down monitor and stand alone DVD in the center console, back up sensors, back up camera, and this navigation unit. In the spring I plan to add some nice wheels and a new grill though.

**Update**

Got her all figured out, steering wheel buttons work perfectly. For anyone interested in installing the SWI-PS it connects to the C1 harness of the BCM which is located under the steering wheel above the brake pedal.

Did you add a backup camera or use the stock one??

I can't get my stock one to work on the new unit (Kenwood, but that shouldn't matter).

I added the Pioneer backup camera with mine, but if you can find the video wire that runs from the camera in the rear track it to the factory harness and splice it with the end of a rca video wire (the yellow plug) then just connect it into the camera input on the stereo. It may take a little time but it should not be too hard especially once you find the correct wire color. You may even be able to find out which wire it is through a google search.

Thanks! Man it was a struggle, but I finally found a good spot for all of the wires. I put the OS4 up above the stereo right under the vents, ran the wires behind the support brackets and pushed the SWI-PS as far back as it would go behind the brackets. Stereo fit with no problems or gaps! It took me 2 hours just to run all of the wires though.
