Hey guys, I've got an 04 Denali and I ordered some smoked housing front lights off of eBay. I opened them up and it looks like they are not projectors. Is there any ideas or great bulbs that would work good and give off great light without blinding oncoming cars? Or should I just tint the stocks?

I've got about 11 boxes here at the house and I'm waiting on rims to show up today. I need tires and the drop from NorCal and I should be set!!! Gonna try and knock it all out in one day. Appreciate it!!!

you may have ordered headlights for a yukon and not a denali (projectors)- it happened to me.

do they look like this ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-06-GMC-Y...3|Submodel:Denali&hash=item3f2892ece3&vxp=mtr

i think you might of been looking for some like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2006-G...li&hash=item58a3798bab&vxp=mtr#ht_6150wt_1362

an HID kit will be sufficient as far a lighting imo. im currently running a 6000k 35w kit, no issues with blinding oncoming cars. my factory ones are not smoked, ive noticed some people keep the stocks ones and just replace the lower ones in smoke (attached picture)

once you replace your headlights and or bulbs, try and check the alignment of where the light is hitting- you may need to adjust it (down/up)

11 boxes? lol dam- take pics and post them up after youre done, i would love to see what it looks like before/after

Yea those are the ones I bought. I saw the second ones you posted they aren't really what I'm looking for. Had some similar on my 300m. Wasn't real impressed with them. Guess I'll just tint them and see how that goes. The attachment looks good but I've got a white denali. Not sure how the black grille will look without the lights being tinted. Thanks guys!!!

the 2nd ones arent my fav choice either- when i got the regular yukon ones i was lucky enough to sell them to a friend who wanted them (saved me a restocking fee from the seller)
and at the end, i like the OEM projector ones better anyway. i used the meguiars headlight restoration kit and they look great.

i found a pic- is that what youre trying to do?

you can also get a sticker/vinyl to cover the GMC logo black- (2nd pic) ive seen that combo on many non black trucks- looks clean and matches the blacked out light set up

That's kind of what I'm going for. I have a black replacement grille already and black gmc logo. I want that whole front end grille/headlights to be the same color. Similar to this pic....

Alright I have black 22' rims, black grille, black badges, go rhino push bar, exhaust, blackouts for tail lights, vent visors, helper bags, tinted license plate cover, and headlights. I think that's it. Just need tires, tint, and drop. Bought the truck in June and I'm trying to get everything ordered up and shipped. But now I'm not too sure how the front end will turn out. I'll give it a try and go back to stock if it doesn't look good.

That's great! You're accomplishing a lot in a short period of time. Hopefully it ends up looking the way you want it to
