I'm trying to find a set of 4 of the stock center caps that come on the Tahoe Hybrid 18 inch wheel (Chevy bowtie in the center of the wheel). I can't locate a part number or a place to buy.

Can one of you running the stock wheels pull a center cap off and let me know what the part number on the inside of the cap says? Any help?

Thanks.

That's what I got too when I looked up a 2009. If you look up any other year it gives you different options and the caps are over $25 each compared to $7 when you look up the 2009.

That makes me confused.

Yeah, they often change part numbers from year to year, often resulting in several part numbers for the same part. What I usually do is get the part no. for my model year from gmpd, and then call the parts dept. at any chevy dealership to confirm it.

I just find it weird all the Tahoe Hybrid years have the same wheels, yet the 2010-2011 center caps are $20.52 each compared to $7.12 each for the 2009 center cap. The 2010-2011 have a different part number too.

I ordered 4 of the 2009 center caps. Total shipped to my house is $41. I hope I didn't just make a $41 mistake. :Boo:

Well Keith, you could always get oem 22s and avoid the confusion. :)

Let us know how it pans out, although I'm sure you'll be good.

Caps finally got here today. They fit perfectly. 2010-2011 center caps are $20.52 each compared to $7.12 each for the 2009 center cap, yet they are the same part even though they are different part numbers?

The Chevy Bowtie caps look great on my Tahoe. The GMC caps have bugged me ever since I put the wheels on.

Glad it panned out ... indeed little things like that can drive one nuts.

I don't know how you even managed to go out in public in such a state. :)
