HP tuners question for 99 Tahoe

Do any of you guys know if the vats can be removed in the ECM? I'm doing a swap into a85 s-15 jimmy and dont want the nightmare that comes along with that system.

you might have to check the hptuners forum for that one. almost no one uses hptuners on these old black box ecm's.

my 96 isn't even covered by hp. so I'm no help.
