How to seafoam!

I did my pops 97 burb with GM top engine cleaner. I followed someones instructions on the net to pour it straight down the throttle body, let sit for 20 mins or more, then rip it on the highway.

I've put it in the gas tank before. Now I want to do in the vacuum line. But when i pull the brake booster vacuum line the truck dies when I start it. Is it suppose to run or not?

Yeah it will run like crap, and die when the vacuum line is disconnected. The best way to keep it running like this is to put your thumb over the end when not sucking up seafoam. Any truck will do that. The thing is with the 5.7 the vac hose only runs to 2 cylinders. It's better to suck the seafoam up through the pcv line. You treat all cylinders that way.

Sorry Johnny come lately here. I am still seeing a lot of different answers on this procedure for the vacuum end of things and was wondering what has been confirmed as being the correct way to Foam a 99 Yukon with the 5.7 vortec mill in it? I think my 125,*** Yukon would benefit from this but when doing anything that is "outside the box" I want to make sure its being done correctly.

Do either the TB or better yet the pcv vacuum line as stated above. I did it this mornring & works well.
